Kantele Class- Kellokosken lukio, October 10th 

Today at school the Cypriot, Polish and German groups of students had learned how to play the traditional Finish instrument, the Kantele. The teacher was Mr Pasi. At first Mr Pasi said a few things about  the history of Kantele to the students. Initially, he told us about  the way the instrument is played and then we were given a paper with a simple traditional Finish song that we would play on Kantele.  It was not easy at the start for most of us but afterwards it became easier. After we learnt to play this song Mr. Pasi gave us another song which was a famous song by the famous band "Kiss". This made the lesson much funnier because almost everybody liked this song. We managed to play it together and it was a great experience. It was very nice learning to play Kantele !!! Written by Alexandros (Cyprus) and  Teemu (Finland)
