Open day at von-Vincke-Schule

On  September 8th, we had an open day at our school. Among many other actions the student presented (Musical, workshops etc.) we had a COMENIUS PRESENTATION and a COMENIUS WALL PAINTING that was going on while the visitors were at our school. Students of grade 9 painted the wall together with Christiane (crafts) and Astrid (Computer science, German, Philosphy).

You can see the finished wall with the flags of each partner country surrounding the earth

The presentation group consisted of those students who were in Poland and those who will join us in Finnland, Marianne (English), Abdul (Maths, computer science, Physics) and Michael (German, computer science for beginners).

After the "Bulgarian greeting" with bread and honey...

our guests were informed about our partner countries by our students.

We also presented our homepage and the results of our partnership work in our IT-lab. In the following picture you can see our homepage seen through a special magnifying device to improve visibility. The black line shows (not now, but usually Sealed) the line of the text, which is shown at the braille device some students use.
