If you are planning to visit the museum together with friends, colleagues or a travel group, we would be happy to advise you on the booking of tickets as well as additional offers (guided tours, media guides) and also assist you on planning your itinerary.
Perhaps you would like to welcome your guests with a glass of champagne, surprise them with a guided tour or conclude your tour with a visit to Lux, the museum’s café.

Public Guided Tours
Public guided tours are limited to 20 people. Advance booking with the Visitor Service is unfortunately not possible.
Participant tickets for a public tour can be picked up at the ticket desk 30 minutes before the start. A maximum of two participant tickets will be issued per person.
Pre-booked Guided Tours
Book a guided tour through the new display of the collection or through current temporary exhibitions.
Groups for guided tours max. 20 people
Foreign language tours in German:
60 min. (€50), 90 min. (€75), 120 min. (€100)
Foreign language tours in English, Dutch, Italian or French :
60 min. (€55), 90 min. (€82.5), 120 min. (€110)
These costs are in addition to standard admission prices.
Exclusive Guided Tours
Experience with your guests the collections and exhibitions of the museum with an exclusive guided tour outside the regular opening hours. Our art mediators will accompany you on your diversified tour through 1000 years of art history or present the highlights of the changing special exhibitions. We will be happy to arrange a reception or a concluding event in the foyer for you.

Please register your visit in advance for groups of 10 people or more.
Unrestricted disabled access from Domplatz with tactile paving leading to a door opener. The entrance on Rothenburg is accessible by wheelchair via a ramp. A passenger lift enables access to all exhibition galleries from the foyer. Disabled toilets are available on all floors.
Photography in the Museum
Photography for private use is permitted in the permanent collection. However, the use of tripods and flash photography is not permitted. Photography is not permitted in temporary exhibitions.
