The textile museum Bocholt weaves the threads of history for visitors. In this fully functional replica mill the WIM demonstrates typical work conditions in the textile industry in the years 1900 to 1960. The pride of the museum is a steam engine complete with enormous flywheel, but visitors are also fascinated by the complexity of the yarn on the beamer, for here they watch the towels and tablecloths available in the museum shop being woven.
